Device Information

To ensure the normal operation of the Bluetooth/WiFi network configuration functions, to provide you with issue tracking, troubleshooting, and diagnostic services, to conduct data statistics and analysis, and to ensure the safe and stable operation of our products and services, we collect the following device information:

1. Device identifiers: including Android ID, OAID, IDFA, etc., used for unique device identification and security risk control;
2. Device parameters: including device model, hardware configuration, etc., used to adapt functionality across different devices;
3. System information: including operating system version, system language, network type, etc., used for compatibility assurance;
4. Device MAC address: used for unique device identification, Bluetooth/WiFi communication, and service stability assurance; collected only after you consent to this Privacy Policy;
5. Network information: including the currently connected WiFi SSID, BSSID, IP address, network status, etc., used for device network configuration and communication.

Location Information

To complete Bluetooth device scanning and WiFi device network configuration, we need the following location permissions:

1. Precise location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION): Android requires location permission for Bluetooth scanning and WiFi scanning; we use this permission only during the network configuration process;
2. Coarse location (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): as a fallback to precise location;
3. Location when in use (LocationWhenInUse): iOS devices obtain location information while the app is in use to complete Bluetooth/WiFi scanning.

Important note: We obtain location permissions solely to satisfy the Android/iOS system requirements for Bluetooth scanning and WiFi scanning. We do not collect, store, or upload your actual geographic location coordinates.

Bluetooth Information

To establish Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication with the radon detection device and to enable data transmission and device management, we will:

1. Scan for nearby Bluetooth devices;
2. Connect to the designated radon detection device;
3. Maintain background Bluetooth communication to ensure continuous data reception.

WiFi Information

To complete device WiFi network configuration (connecting the device to your home/office WiFi network), we will:

1. Scan the list of nearby WiFi access points;
2. Read the currently connected WiFi SSID and BSSID;
3. Obtain local network information to discover and configure the device.

We collect information only to the extent necessary to realize the above functions. Collection is triggered when you use the corresponding features and never exceeds the minimum scope necessary to achieve the function.

1.2 Rules for Using Personal Information

We use the personal information we collect only for the following purposes:

1. Ensuring the normal operation and functionality of our products/services;
2. Enabling Bluetooth device scanning, connection, data transmission, and background communication;
3. Completing WiFi network configuration of devices via Bluetooth;
4. Rapidly identifying and pairing devices via QR code scanning;
5. Troubleshooting and resolving faults and issues arising during the use of our products/services;
6. Optimizing the product experience and conducting data statistics and analysis (after anonymization);
7. Complying with laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.

Without your explicit consent, we will not use the collected personal information for any purposes not described in this Policy.

2. How We Provide Your Personal Information to Third Parties

2.1 Lawful Bases for Providing Information to Third Parties

We provide your personal information to third parties only when one of the following circumstances applies:

1. To implement a specific function to which you have explicitly consented;
2. To provide, maintain, and optimize IoT products and services;
3. To enable device status monitoring and anomaly alerts;
4. To respond to your service requests and technical support needs;

3. How We Protect Your Data Security

We are committed to adopting security measures consistent with industry standards to protect your personal information from disclosure, tampering, and loss. Specific measures include:

1. Technical protection: TLS/SSL encrypted transmission of personal information, desensitization and encrypted storage of sensitive information, deployment of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.;
2. Security audits: Regular personal information security audits, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing, with timely remediation of security risks;
3. Emergency response: Data security incident contingency plans; in the event of a security incident such as information leakage, we will promptly take remedial measures, report to the regulatory authorities as required, and notify affected users.

Data storage notes:

• Your personal data is stored on Alibaba Cloud servers (within mainland China);
• Bluetooth device communication data (e.g., radon concentration readings) is transmitted via BLE to your phone and then uploaded by the app to our servers;
• The WiFi password used during device network configuration is used only for one-time configuration and is not stored long-term.

Please note that no method of data transmission or storage technology can guarantee 100% security. We will continue to improve our security capabilities, but we cannot promise absolute security.

4. Protection of Children's Privacy

Our products/services are not directed at minors under the age of 14 (children). We do not proactively collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will immediately stop collecting it and delete the relevant information promptly. If a guardian discovers that a child's personal information has been collected by us, please contact us through the contact information at the end of this document, and we will cooperate in deleting the relevant information.

5. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy in response to legal and regulatory amendments, product feature adjustments, technological developments, and other circumstances.
